Itineraries

Day 1

Cochin – Munnar

On arrival at Cochin Airport/Station our vehicle picks up you & transfers to “Munnar”. It is 140 Kms / 4 Hrs Drive. Check into the hotel. Munnar is a magnificent hill station in the Western Ghats at about 5000 feet above sea level. This is one of the best hill stations in Kerala and is the major centre of Kerala's tea industry. Munnar means three rivers and the town is located at the confluence of 3 mountain streams - Muthirapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. These 3 stream confluence at the heart of the town and meet all the water requirements of the settlers and visitors. Munnar has lakes, forests and several tea estates. Anaimudi, the highest peak in South India (2695 m/8883 ft.) is nearby. Munnar was the British Government's Summer Resort in the South and it has been the favorite summer resort of the European sellers for centuries. By noon reach at Munnar, Check in to the hotel and evening free for leisure.

Day 2

Day 2: Munnar (Local Sightseeing)

After breakfast proceeds for local sightseeing in and around Munnar - Sprawling Tea Plantation picture-book towns, winding lanes and holiday facility makes this a popular town. Local sightseeing of Munnar - Major sightseeing attractions are the Kundale tea plantation, Eravikulam National Park, The High Range Club, Top Station, Mattuppetty, Devikulam, Rajamalai, Chithirapuram, Marayoor, Pallivasal/Pothamedu, etc Evening free for leisure and shopping in Market. Overnight stay at Munnar.

Day 3

Munnar - Thekkady

After taking breakfast transfer to Thekkady (150 Km / 4 Hrs), On arrival check in to hotel, after noon proceed for local sightseeing in and around Thekkady - Thekkady is one of the world's most fascinating wild life reserves, the Periyar wild life sanctuary spread across 777 Sq. KM. of which 360 Sq. KM is thick ever green forest. The Periyar wild life sanctuary was declared as a Tiger Reserve in 1978 noted for its geomorphology, diversity of wild life and scenic beauty. Whenever reach at Thekkady check into your Hotel & get fresh. Evening you can move around to the market for Shopping of SPICES. Overnight stay at Thekkady.

Day 4

Thekkady – Alleppey

After breakfasts take transfer to Alleppey (150 Km / 4 hrs). Before reaching resorts, you can enjoy sightseeing points in Alleppey, Enjoy nature with the Arabian Sea in the west and a vast network of Lakes, Lagoons and freshwater rivers criss-crossing it, Alappuzha is a district immense natural beauty. Referred to as the Venice of east by travelers from across the world. This backwater country is home to diverse animal and bird life. By virtue of its proximity to the sea, the town has always enjoyed a unique place in the maritime history of Kerala. Today, Alappuzha is an important backwater destination attracting several thousand foreign tourists every year. Alleppey is also famous for its boat races, beaches, marine products and coir industry. A singularity of this land is the region called “KUTTANAD” – a land of lush paddy fields referred to as the rice bowl of Kerala and one of the few places in the world where farming is done below sea level. After completing the sightseeing points in Alleppey. Evening free for enjoying backwaters beauty through the Resort. Overnight stay at resort at Kumarakom.

Day 5

Alleppey – Houseboat

After breakfast proceed for Houseboat for Backwater experience. You have to check into the Houseboat before 12:00 Noon. Drop your car at the Jetty point. Full day enjoy the backwater life through the Houseboat. Night stay at Houseboat. Cruising will be permitted from 12:30 to 5:30 PM, All meals will be served in Houseboat. Please clear your meal preference at the time of booking in houseboat. Ac will work in Bedroom area only from 9:30 PM till 6:30 AM.

Day 6

Alleppey - Kovalam

After breakfast before 9:00 A.M. proceed for Kovalam (175 kms / 5 Hrs). Whenever you reach at Kovalam check into the hotel & get fresh, Evening free for sightseeing of Trivandrum, then after come to the hotel & enjoy your delicious dinner at hotel & overnight stay at hotel in Kovalam.

Day 7

Kovalam

After breakfast proceed for beach sightseeing of Kovalam. After 9:00 AM proceed for Kanyakumari. Enjoy Kanyakumari sunset & sightseeing & come back to the hotel for dinner. Enjoy your delicious dinner at hotel & overnight stay at hotel in Kovalam.

Day 8

Kovalam - Trivandrum

After breakfast proceed for Trivandrum Station/Airport for your further Journey towards your hometown.
