Itineraries

Day 1

In Pune-Pune Local Sightseeing

Arrival at Pune railway station/airport. Transfer to your hotel & check in. Proceed to Pune city tour. Kasba Ganapati, Lal Mahal, Dagdusheth Ganapati, Shaniwarwada, Raja Kelkar Museum, Pataleshwar Temple, Aga khan Palace. Overnight stay at Pune.

Day 2

Pune - Bhimashankar (110 km / 3 hrs) - Bhandardara (150 km / 3.5 hrs)

After breakfast transfer to Bhimashankar, which is an ancient shrine, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Shiva. Bhimashankar is the source of the Bhima River, which flows Southeast and merges with the Krishna River. After visit to the lord shiva temple, transfer to Bhandardara. Overnight stay Bhandardara.

Day 3

Bhandardara - Nasik (75 Km / 1.5 hrs)

After breakfast proceed to sightseeing famous hill station Bhandardara, which located in Western Ghats. Bhandardara is home to Mount Kalsubai, the highest peak (5,400 ft) in sahyadri ranges. Then visit to Wilson Dam: Built in 1910 across River Pravara, Arthur Lake: The clear and placid lake is bounded by thick canopied forests of the Sahyadri hills. Randha Falls: Randha Falls is a good waterfall to visit. The roaring River Pravara descends down from a height of 170 ft into a beautiful gorge. Transfer to Nashik. Overnight stay at Nashik.

Day 4

Nasik – Trimbakeshwar - Nasik (32 Km / 1 hrs) & Local sightseeing

After breakfast transfer to Trimbakeshwar: dedicated to Lord Shiva and is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas. It is located at the source of the Godavari River, the longest river in peninsular India. The Godavari River originates from Bramhagiri Mountains. Then proceed to Nashik city tour. Panchawati, kalaram Temple, Ram Kund, Sita Vatika, Mukti Dham, Phalake Smarak. Overnight stay at Nashik.

Day 5

Nasik to Shirdi (90 km / 2 hrs) - Aurangabad (160 km / 3 hrs)

After Breakfast transfer to shirdi. Shirdi is well-known for home of Shree Sai Baba from 19th century. The most visited and trusted Pilgrims of Maharashtra. Later proceed to Shree Sai baba Darshan & Aarti. Transfer to Aurangabad & Overnight stay at Aurangabad.

Day 6

Aurangabad – local Sightseeing

Aurangabad, the place of one of the magnificent carvings and monuments in India. After breakfast enjoy city tour : Ellora Caves is now a World Heritage Site, Ghrushneshwar one of the 12 jyotirlinga, Doulatabad is a 14th-century fort city in Maharashtra Bibi Ka Maqbara: is the burial place of Aurangzeb's wife, Rabia-ud-Durrani alias Dilras Banu Begum. Overnight stay at Aurangabad.

Day 7

Aurangabad - Ajanta (96 Km / 2 hrs)

After breakfast, proceed to sightseeing of Ajanta Caves. These Caves are in existence from the 2nd century BCE. The caves include paintings and sculptures these are “The finest surviving examples of Indian art, particularly painting” which are masterpieces of Buddhist religious art, with figures of the Buddha and depictions of the Jataka tales. The Ajanta Caves are registered as UNESCO World Heritage Site. On the way back to photo stop at wind farms and overnight stay at Aurangabad.

Day 8

Return Journey: Aurangabad to Pune (240 Km / 6 hrs)

After breakfast transfer to Pune. Enroute visit to Shani Shingnapur. Shingnapur is also famous for the fact that house in the village has no doors, only door Frames. Drop at Pune for respective departure.
